Enriching Life’s Journey
“My daughter, Paula, and I started Companion Care in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2004 after seeing my daughter Barbara provide companionship and loving care through her company in California. We were inspired to provide that type of service for the aging population in Albuquerque.”
“As a survivor of polio as a child and breast cancer at the age of 45, I know first hand the importance of having support throughout the various stages of your life. I am 75 years old now and have accomplished much in my life. I helped raise 8 children, and have earned three Master’s Degrees, the latest one being Gerontology from Webster University. I believe that my age and my physical handicaps are gifts that give me the opportunity to support others who can benefit from my experiences.”
“Paula has a career in environmental science and is also Chief Financial Officer of Companion Care.” “She is my greatest supporter,” says Jan. “It gives us the opportunity to work together as a family bringing trust, honesty and love to others,” Paula adds.
Our goal at Companion Care is to make life as good as possible despite a person’s limitations. Life can be good with support from a care partner as our clients will tell you. We strive to go above and beyond our clients/partners expectations. When you are ready to talk, we are ready to listen!
“It’s not the great things we do in life it’s the little things we do with great love.”
