Companion Care has been providing personalized in-home care for elders since 2004. Our companionship services team are highly-trained, experienced professionals who sincerely care for our clients. Whether you need assistance with daily activities, respite care, post-surgical care, Alzheimer’s care or hospice care,we will actively listen to you in order to understand your needs and provide the best possible service to meet those needs.
The Companion Care team has participated in the Walk for ALS annually and has been a sponsor of the event for the past four years.

Jan provides vision and leadership, as well as coordinates initial and ongoing training for our caregivers. She brings a unique perspective as a survivor of polio as a child and breast cancer at the age of 45. She knows first-hand the importance of having support throughout the various stages of your life.
“I am 82 years old now and have accomplished much in my life. I helped raise 8 children and have earned three Master’s Degrees, the latest one in Gerontology. I believe that my age and my physical handicaps are gifts that give me the opportunity to support others who can benefit from my experiences.”
Janet was named as a 2015 Woman of Influence by the Albuquerque Business Journal for her contributions to improving in-home health care in the Albuquerque area.
Paula has a career in environmental science. She works to make sure that our companionship services are the best they can be.
“She is my greatest supporter,” says Jan. “It gives us the opportunity to work together as a family bringing trust, honesty and love to others,” Paula adds.
Wray has a degree in Elementary Education with Endorsements in Special Education. She interviews and coordinates incoming clients and is the key person working with insurance companies and the Veteran’s Administration. She enjoys working with elders and their families to create cohesive care plans.

As Community Liaison and webmaster for over three years, Martyne enjoys building mutually beneficial relationships with individuals whose companies are referral partners with Companion Care.
As a Care Consultant and Manager, Martyne introduces clients to Companion Care and to the caregivers with whom they are carefully matched. Martyne also coordinates the caregiver training program for the company.
Marianne began working as a Caregiver for Companion Care eight years ago.
As the Scheduler and a Care Manager for our clients on the West Side and Rio Rancho, she schedules and supports our caregiver team.
